Some of the most stunning photos in the world are taken right here in Hawaii. Here are a few of our favorite photographers who are lucky enough to work in the paradise of the Hawaiian Islands.
JERRE STEAD
Jerre has been pursuing his passion in photography for three years and is completely driven by creative desires to show the world all of the beauty that it truly holds. After having spent some time as a student at the Art Institute of Seattle, honing in on the technical aspects of photography, Jerre found his way to Hawaii where the beautiful landscapes have provided to be the perfect environment to continue learning and growing as a photographer. Jerre is currently working towards being a travel blogger, and having the opportunity to fly and work with Mauna Loa Helicopters has definitely been another great adventure to add to his list. Being able to work closely with pilots who are truly skilled and passionate about what they do makes creating all the more fun. He currently has some of his work on digital display and for sale though his website www.selcouthvagary.com and also uses the social media platform Instagram to share his digital work.
MATT KWOCK
Matt Kwock was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawai`i. After graduating from Punahou School, he attended college at the University of Puget Sound and received a Master’s of Physician Assistant Degree at Samuel Merritt University. He now lives in Honolulu where he practices as a Physician Assistant. It wasn’t until after obtaining a Master’s degree that Matt picked up a camera and developed a passion for photography.
What started as wave photography has quickly evolved into anything that would allow him to get outside and explore. What Matt appreciates most about photography is that it allows him to capture amazing moments that he is present for in life, and it constantly challenges him to push his creative boundaries.
